Dear Colleagues and Friends,

First of all, we would like to extend our deep appreciation for those who are working to subdue the current COVID-19 pandemic. As it is the first time that Malaysia is hosting TERMIS-AP Chapter Meeting, we were extremely encouraged by the number of proposed symposia and the tremendous support given by TERMIS-AP and TERMIS Global offices and TERMIS members worldwide. We thank you all for your support for TERMIS-AP 2020.We are certainly proud to be a part of this TERMIS global family.

Unfortunately, due to the escalating situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) around the world and the global restrictions regarding overseas travel and event organization, the Organizing Committee of TERMIS-AP 2020 Chapter Meeting decided to cancel the AP Meeting, which was scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur during September 21st – 24th, 2020.

We understand that most of you are keen to share your research work and get the latest updates in this field. We truly encourage you to resubmit your abstracts to the next possible opportunities provided by TERMIS. We will be contacting to anyone who already registered and paid the fee by early May to inform our refund policy.

I also thank all the organizing committee members, participants, invited speakers, industrial partners and sponsors for your cooperation and kind understanding. We look forward to another opportunity to meet and work with you again.

On behalf of Organizing Committee of the TERMIS-AP Chapter Meeting, we wish you, your family, friends and colleagues good health during this challenging period. I am certain that in this critical moment in history, lies an opportunity for us to connect even deeper despite the physical distancing. We shall continue to advance and transform for the better.
