Call for Nominations

In preparation for the upcoming 2017 TERMIS election, we would like to invite our membership to submit your nominations for the various open positions within your respective Chapter.

The nominees that you suggest for any of the above positions must be a member, in good standing, of TERMIS. 

You can suggest multiple nominations for the open positions.

When providing your recommendations of nominees, please email the TERMIS Executive Administrator, Sarah Wilburn, swilburn@termis.org, with the contact information of the nominee, as well as, a brief statement on why you are proposing this person as a board, council member or committee member of TERMIS and its Chapters.

Nominations are due:  Friday, September 22, 2017

  • For those members residing within the Americas (AM) region, please suggest potential nominees to run for
    • The one (1) open position for the Chair-Elect,
    • The five (5) open positions for the Council,
    • The one (1) open position for the Member-at-Large: AM,
    • The one (1) open position on the Awards Committee,
    • The three (3) open positions on the Membership Committee
    • The two (2) open position on the Nominating Committee;
    • The one (1) open position for the External Affairs Committee,
    • The five (5) open positions on the External Affairs Committee.
  • For those members residing within the Asian-Pacific (AP) region, please suggest potential nominees to run for
    • The one (1) open position for the Chair-Elect,
    • The one (1) open position for the Council,
    • The two (2) open Asian-Pacific positions for the TERMIS Global Endorsement Committee.
  • For those members residing within the European (EU) region, please suggest potential nominees to run for
    • The three (3) open positions on the Council.
  • For those members residing within the Emerging Countries, please suggest a potential nominees to run for
    • The one (1) open position for the Member-at-Large:  Emerging Countries.
  • All members of the Society, please suggest potential nominees to run for
    • The one (1) open position within the Editorial Committee.

 

Students & Young Investigators

  • For those members, who are students or young investigators within the Americas (AM) region, please suggest potential nominees to run for
      • The one (1) open position for the Chair-Elect,
      • The one (1) open position for the Secretary,
      • The one (1) open position for the Chair of the Scientific & Professional Development Committee.
  • For those members, who are students or young investigators within the European (EU) region, please suggest potential nominees to run for

TERMIS-EU Business Plan Competition & Pre-Accelerator Programme Committee

The TERMIS-EU BPC & PAP Committee is recruiting! We are currently seeking applications from students and young investigators to occupy four roles on our committee.

You will work within a team under the corresponding Programme Director to orchestrate the competition or webinar series and their related activities. Applicants must hold a BSc degree or higher in a related field, with a keen interest in translational issues in TERM or related fields.

By working with the BPC Committee you will have the opportunity to gain experience in organising a multi-disciplinary event and to establish invaluable links with leading figures from academia and industry.

To apply, please send your CV, along with a statement of intent (max. 500 words) and two references using the online form, by 15th September 2017. Please note that this committee appoints new members via application and interview, not by nomination and election.
