Gala Event Tickets
The registration includes entry for the registrant to the Gala Event. Additional tickets of Gala Dinner for Accompanying Person can be purchased for JPY10,000.
1 With proof of status - Any individual, who is engaged as a full-time graduate or undergraduate, in a university or college program and is actively involved in research in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. You will be asked to submit a copy of your student id in the registration form.
2 Young Investigators are defined as persons who are employed by an academic institution in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, who have been awarded their doctoral degree within the past 3 years and who are not holding an appointment as a faculty or academic staff in a university/research institute. Young investigators are required to have their advisor/supervisor send a letter as proof of the bona fide status of the young investigator.
3 Registration is dependent on the country in which you currently reside; not your nationality. Countries listed within Group B and C for residence (and work) are eligible to emerging country fee.
4 TERMEX 2018 (TISSUE ENGINEERING & REGENERATIVE MEDECINE EXPOSITION 2018) will take place on September 4, 2018 as a preview event of TERMIS-WC 2018. Registration to attend the TERMEX 2018 is included with your registration to the 2018 TERMIS World Congress. If you are not attending the World Congress, there is an additional fee to attend TERMEX 2018.
TERMEX 2018 is an exposition which aims to introduce the very up-to-date situation of industrialization, regulation, market insights, international development and other surrounding issues of Tissue Engineering/Regenerative Medicine (TE/RM) in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific countries. Group B involves location within a country that has limited scientific infrastructure, or within a country that lies outside of the existing responsibility of continental chapters (i.e. most of Africa), such that individuals have limited prospects of belonging to a TERM society. These individuals, on application, will become members of TERMIS Global, without payment of a membership fee. These countries are: (In Europe) Albania, Andorra, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, San Marino, (In the Americas) all Central America and Caribbean Countries. Bolivia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela (In Asia-Pacific), Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Korea (North), Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Oman, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yemen (In Africa) all African countries not listed in Group C, Africa.
In Group C are countries that do have some scientific infrastructure and has some TERM activity, and where there is the prospect of establishing a national or regional society or community and which could aspire to become fully recognized within a continental chapter. Initially these are considered similar to Group B but would transfer to Group A as appropriate, such considerations being made on a case-by-case basis. These countries are: (In Europe), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Malta, Monaco, Ukraine, (In the Americas) Chile, Colombia, (In Asia-Pacific) all Oceana Countries except Australia and New Zealand, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, The Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, (In Africa) Algeria, Egypt, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa.
Registration fee for TERMIS-WC 2018（Delegates/Full Investigators/Students &Young Investor/ Emerging Country Participants）includes: Admission to all Congress Sessions (including TERMEX 2018) and the Exhibition Area, Coffee breaks, Conference bag, Work lunches, Social Events (including the Gala Event) and a Program Book. If you complete the Registration for TERMIS-WC, you are also attend TERMEX2018, pre-conference workshop on September 4th without extra fee. As an attendee of the World Congress, you will receive membership to TERMIS that does not expire until December 31, 2019.
Registration fee for TERMEX 2018 includes: Admission to the Pre-Workshop(TERMEX 2018), Lunch and Welcome Reception on September 4th only. If you would like to participate in full sessions of TERMIS-WC (from Sep. 5th to 7th) and TERMEX2018, please register to TERMIS-WC.
Registration Cancellation Policy: Participants unable to attend will receive a refund (less JPY5,000 of administration charges) for requests received in writing before July 26th, 2018. There will be no refund after this date. Refunds will be issued after the congress. We regret that we will not be able to accept requests made over phone nor requests received after the deadline. Please note that we are unable to refund any registration fees at times when the congress is cancelled due to inevitable causes such as natural disasters, epidemics, etc. We thank your understanding that there will be no exceptions under any circumstances to this registration fee refund procedure.
As of July 27th, registrations for the 2018 TERMIS World Congress will only be accepted onsite
